As part of National Literacy Month — Councilwoman Nuri Martinez and Los Angeles City Hall are hosting a book drive to supply books for ACFC Free Libraries located in LAPD Stations around the city! Thanks to all for their support! and belief in the libraries! LAPD Officer Heidi Stoecklein and ACFC Founder Tai Collins spoke before council. Special thanks to Shelly Wood and The Water Buffalo Club for being part of the day as well as Douglas Chadwick who builds each library by hand and his wife Jean who is the brainchild of the free libraries!
